Currently, I am a student majoring in Liberal Arts at Great Bay Community College in Rochester, New Hampshire. I moved from Massachusetts to further my education in New Hampshire regarding animals. Personally, I wish to major in Zoology and be able to further my education and experiences with animals. As a child, I was surrounded by pets at home. I realized how much care and love it took just to sustain the needs of just a few animals. Looking into it, I put into consideration just how many species of animals aren't cared for anymore. I studied heavily, peering into documentaries and novels written by ecologists and environmental enthusiasts. Wildlife fascinated me, and I can't stand much longer knowing that the exotic animals within our planet are dying out. Although Great Bay did not offer the direct courses I was looking for, it seems to be a stepping stone to reach what I want to become. I've been searching for volunteer programs to further my experiences within the field, but I am working towards means of transportation first.
