About
My name is Adriana Perez and I am the second of three children, who are all striving to finish our post-secondary education. My father is a police officer and my mother is an ICU nurse. I was raised around people who care for others in their careers, and in a Christian home. I know that I am very fortunate to be surrounded by family members who love and support me. I’m currently attending Arizona State University online for my BS in Counseling and Applied Psychological Science. I will graduate in December of 2024 and am looking forward to helping my community with mental health issues.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Mental health affects us all. I'm not alone when I say that my mental health affects every aspect of my daily life. We have all lived through trauma and joy, and although trauma is heart-breaking, it is a part of everyone's life. As I move through my education in mental health, counseling, psychology, and therapy, I am humbled and emboldened simultaneously. The more I learn, the more thrilled I am that I choose this path. A genuine, empathetic therapist can save a person's life.
- Graduate school interests
I'm interested in pursuing my masters locally and as inexpensively as possible.
- Outside the classroom
Hiking, fishing, gymnastics, fitness, Bible study, weight-lifting.
