TAPP Novice Tour Exemplar Teacher

Each year Fort Bend ISD Teacher Development holds a Novice tour to give first year teachers the opportunity to observe instructional strategies utilized by exemplar veteran teachers. This year my name was submitted to the district as an exemplar teacher.
Writing Teacher Leader

I was chosen by the Literacy Specialist at my Fort Bend ISD campus to represent writing teachers as a writing specialist and educator trainer.
Digital Learning Visionary

Nominated by the Fort Bend ISD Digital Learning Department and my campus administrator in recognition of my dedication to technology integration in my classroom.

Career goal: I am focused on obtaining a Ph.D. in Geo-Science or Atmospherical Science, and working in one of those fields.
Graduate school interests: University of Houston
Outside the classroom: In my spare time I enjoy teaching my two young sons (6 and 7) about Science. We love experimenting and exploring together whenever we have the time! I also enjoy swimming, running, and bicycling (also typically with my family). My favorite evening activity is enjoying the night sky on the hammock and searching for elusive stars that can be seen in the bright Sugar Land skies.
