About

I have spent the last 18 years researching high-risk issues in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was born and raised in Santa Fe, but lived in international cities from the age of 16 to 25 years of age. I have built a social entrepreneurial civic business model based on supporting a special education student attending Santa Fe Public Schools District (also applies to a full spectrum student population) via direct family support. The Buenas Familias Cultural Diagram provides the support needed to increase standardized test scores and is based on Northern New Mexico traditional familia structures and roles. I work in the non-profit industries and also have a team under my leadership of my sole-proprietorship, Adesigns that offers administrative & household management support and civic leadership training via a psychosocial development curriculum and an enrichment classroom support program, Sonar Silkscreen Studio Classroom.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to provide the City of Santa Fe with a paradigm shift in addressing critical issues that are based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and Eric Ericson's development stages in high-risk youth that is also applicable to all youth. This paradigm shift is focused on tribal structures in specific geographic, as well as an online virtual village, that are similar to a fractal formula for supporting health/safety via individuals, organizations, and government agencies and can easily be duplicated neighborhood by neighborhood.

Graduate school interests

I am an independent mom and family matriarch. School serves my role as a mom, leader in my familia, and a Chicana leader.

Outside the classroom

I only work to create my business model when I am not taking care of my familia. I am focus in keeping my eye on the ball. I have many children who are counting on me to provide him/her a chance at decency & dignity in adulthood, because he/she currently does not have a fair chance realistically.
