About
My name is Ashton Everly and I am an undergraduate student at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I am a Social Work major and hope to get my Masters at Metro as well. I am also a Reisher Scholar and am very grateful for it! School is my priority and I cannot wait to see what comes out of my degree.

Honors and awards
-
Reisher Scholar
I was awarded a full ride scholarship from the Reisher Scholarship for a balance of GPA, working, volunteering, and intention to graduate in 4 years. I am very lucky and thankful to be rewarded for my hard work!
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I would love to be a social worker at a Children's Hospital, specifically in a pediatric oncology department. I mainly want to help children realize that life is not so bad and help their families as well. I believe the glass is half full and I want to spread that positivity around to struggling families. I am a childhood cancer survivor myself and I want kids to see that there is more to life that being in a hospital.
- Graduate school interests
I would love to get a Masters in social work as well to verify my experience to future employers. I intend to stay at Metro for that as well!
