About
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has given me many skills and experiences throughout my Undergraduate and now soon my Graduate degree. I will have my Graduate degree in Spring 2016; being that I am almost done I have been a part of many research opportunities and had the opportunity to demonstrate my skills at three different internships in the industry. I have explored the fields of engineering, industrial design, safety, statistics, research, & development for applications in human engineering, performance evaluation, selection and training, product-support systems. I have been able to lead teams in research, acquire new skills through internships, and develop character through volunteering.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have given me a solid foundation in this field, while working and researching has allowed for growth and expertise in the human factors engineering. Research, development, and generating results are a few among many skills that I enjoy the most. Beyond my passion and dedication, I also have a background in research and teamwork. I have an in-depth understanding of machine and human interaction, from both the psychology and the engineering outlook that I have gotten to learn firsthand at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Textron, as well as Momentive Performance Materials. I have worked with a professor for the 2015-2016 year so far, writing publications and conducting research independently and with teams. This job and the internships I've had has helped me learn how to meet deadlines, be more innovative, and take initiative. I am in my major’s honor society (Psi Chi), I also have part time jobs and am a part of a few clubs and organizations, as listed on my resume.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
1. Provides guidelines of Human Factors during all stages of the design process, from concept definition through detailed design.
2. Applies structured quantitative or subjective methods to ensure human centered design and optimum usability in the operation, maintainability, and/or manufacturing.
3. Perform structured tests, analysis, or simulations using prototyping tools to obtain early, multiple user feedback for HF requirement definition.
4. Provides analysis of detailed design concepts to functional teams through the use of modeling techniques.
5. Communicate across teams to provide best overall design.
6. Creates workload assessments through measurement techniques.
7. Compensates and minmizes for human error in products using task analysis and human error analysis methods.
8. Collaborates on the coordination and development of designs.
9. Creates tests and reports, engineering reports and memos to substantiate compliance with human factors regulations.
10. Develops system design concepts and presents human factors recommendations to multidisciplinary design teams.- Graduate school interests
