About
I am currently a second year graduate student enrolled in the Masters in Counseling program at the University of Arizona. My focus is on school counseling with the intention of becoming a school counselor someday. My goal is to improve social emotional learning across the school curriculum and to create a culture within the school that would allow for students to become the best versions of themselves.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My vision for my future job path is to be able to create as much of an impact on school systems as possible. My intention is to make social emotional learning a central part of school curricula. I also hope to continue researching and writing about best practices within the counseling profession. I am also pursuing a certificate in teaching yoga which I hope to apply to my practices with students and clients.
- Graduate school interests
As I progress through my graduate school program, I am hoping to gain as much knowledge about the different types of therapy available for individual with mental health struggles. I hope to be able to apply theories into practice during my internship and to gain supervision so that I can continuously improve my skills. Finally, I will strive to continue reading and researching in order to keep up with current best practices.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I enjoy reading for leisure. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and swimming.
