About
My name is Akaycia Curry pronounced(Ahh-Kay-Shuh), currently majoring in Psychology at the illustrious Florida Memorial University. I am currently a junior in college. I plan on graduating with a degree in Psychology to pursue my own practices in Child Psychology. Growing up as a child, I have always wanted to help other children with their problems. I am extremely outgoing, I love meeting new people, and I also love traveling and exploring different ways of life.During my high school years I was Vice President of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, (FCCLA). I attended multiple leadership conferences with other students from different high schools learning the importance of becoming a leader in society and helping others. After graduating high school with honors, I decided to run for Freshmen Class President. Placing third place, I was elected as Freshmen Chief of Staff and served my class during the 2014 academic school year. Currently I am Vice President in the Psychology Club, creating many mental illness awareness activities for my University. I will and can make a difference in the Psychology industry and help young children with obstacles they may face.
