About
Hello,
My name is Akym Mathurine (pronounced Ah Keem Math Rin). I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Grenada, W.I., and now I live in Hartford, Connecticut. I wear many hats as an artist, musician, National Guard soldier, and I.T. specialist. I believe in being multifaceted; every human being has many layers and should not be defined by just one aspect. Discovery is important to me. I constantly seek to challenge myself and to understand every layer, strength, and weakness that I possess. The ethos I live by is, "Life is short; there is much to learn and much to see."
