Alaina Trisler

My name is Alaina Trisler and I am a 2023 senior at Jena High School. I have been a member of many clubs and organizations at my school including Anchor Community Service Organization, Spanish club, and Student Council. I have been a cheerleader during my entire time at JHS and served as cheer captain my senior year. I have maintained a 3.89 GPA throughout high school. I am looking forward to my future at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La. I plan to major in speech language pathology. I was inspired to help people with speech issues by my little cousin and my aunt. My five year old cousin was born with a posterior tongue tie and no one discovered it until he was four years old. I watched both him and my aunt struggle with his speech and worry for him until his tongue tie was discovered. I want to help people overcome similar struggles and show the worried parents the compassion they deserve during a time of worry.
