I used to cheer when I attended Herbert H. Lehman High School during my sophomore year. I hoped to continue either my cheer dreams or my step dreams when I attend my college which is now Delaware State University which is exactly why I applied to many HBCUs. I've been dancing since I was 5, on a step team but was always on a dance team. I am also a new member of the National Honor Society so community service is something I'm going to rack up on. Outside of school I believe I'm strictly committed to either homework, spending quality time with those I love and or I'm working. I worked at Champs Sports in Bay Plaza, NY 10475 throughout the school year and SYEP with kids in the summer which I continue to do every summer. Also planning on getting another job so I can save up for college. Lastly, I want to major in the medical field; that can mean a pharmacist, nurse, surgeon technician or a doctor. If I don't make it there, I would rather be in the justice system or real estate.
Thank you,
