About
I grew up with parents who tried their best to give my four brothers and I the life we deserved. We did struggle at multiple times but we always fought through the struggle and kept on pushing through. One of the biggest things to help me get through was sports. My mom would say ever since I have learned to walk I've had a ball in my hands. That is what made sports my dream and I don't ever want to have to give that up, so I will fight for my spot and prove to everyone I deserve it so I can further my career into either football or wrestling. recently I had a grandfather who passed from cancer which made it to where my mom had to leave state and lost her job. She tried to get a job while being out of state, but she could not stick to one because she had to keep trying to come home and try to meet the needs of my brothers and I. Most of the time she had to be out of state for her dad my grandfather. I have a part time job to help financially, but this is a time that there is a financial need. This and several other struggles have taught me to work hard when obstacles are placed in front of me. I plan to continue to have this work ethic as I move into college. Having an opportunity to play sports in college would be wonderful, and I will try and try until I can succeed athletically and academically. My brothers played sports with me and when we weren't playing sports we found something fun to do that would keep us out of trouble. Growing up I have always had an interest in the medical field, however I have wanted sports just as bad. I want to find a place that can make those dreams come true. I'm currently and will continue to work toward that coming true at Fort Hays University. To be able to become a doctor and continue to further my future in athletics would be one of the biggest blessings
