I intend on changing the City of Chicago.
I've been extremely fortunate in my academic career; I've known even before I started college that I wanted to be a lawyer. Since the minute I started the first year of my undergraduate journey, I knew exactly what I wanted to major in, I researched what general education classes would also fulfill my major requirements, and as a result, was able to pursue a minor in Justice Studies alongside my major in Political Science. On December 3rd, 2016 I took the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) and am currently waiting for my results (fingers crossed)! I'm so grateful that my love for reading and writing and my passion for justice has led me in a straight arrow path to my future.
Once I receive my Juris Doctor (JD), I plan on giving back to the City of Chicago. I was born and raised in this city and cannot adequately convey my love for it. I love the lake, the amazing food, the beautiful parks, the vibrant people, the immense list of activities to enjoy. Unfortunately, Chicago has been plagued by violence and endless corruption.
If I can be the one to make even the slightest change in my city, I would be honored.
