About
Ok, so my name is Alexa Jones and I am currently attending TCNJ as a math and elementary education major. I grew up in South Orange New Jersey from the age of 4 to the present. I was always interested in math, science, and the arts because reading and writing was never my strong suit. I played Ultimate frisbee for 4 years in High School as well as participated on my varsity swim team for 3 years. Both teams were fun and a great learning experience since I was the captain of both teams my senior year. I continue to play Ultimate frisbee in college and I am also a radio DJ for our campus station and I recently joined a sorority. I like to listen to music, hang out with friends as well as do photography. 3 words that are commonly used to describe me are funny, outgoing, and bold. I love to sing and dance whether I am good at or not. I tend not to care what others think of me because it is much more fun to be care free.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I would love to teach upper elementary, in the 5th or 6th grade area, because I would rather focus on teaching solely math.
- Graduate school interests
Ideally I would like to join the peace corp after college for field and travel experience, or to go to grad school. I am thinking Syracuse or Rutgers depending on financials.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy playingUltimate Frisbee, i played all four years in high school, and now I am in my college team. I am a licensed radio DJ at WTSR, which is TCNJ's station. I like photography as well as doing arts and crafts. My favorite pass time is to hang out with my friends.
