I am a high school senior at a small private classical school in Texas. I am hardworking and determined, which has enabled me to maintain a perfect GPA while also engaging in extracurricular activities, volunteer service projects, and student leadership. Since childhood, I have been incessantly curious about how the world around me works, and have studied through books and articles outside of school. It seemed that God revealed Himself to me through His creation, and studying the natural sciences strengthened my faith.  I have always loved gardening, going to planetariums, collecting and identifying rocks, and reading about how the human body works. One of my childhood favorite activities was playing with my chemistry set. During high school, my favorite classes were chemistry, biology, and physical science. I am now entering into my senior year, and feel called to take my passion for science to a career level. I intend to represent my values in this field, and I feel inspired to stand up for ethical practices in science. I aspire to work in a medical setting, to make the world a better place by helping people conquer disease and become healthier versions of themselves.
