Alexandra Blejeru

I am a classically trained violinist with more than two and a half decades of playing experience and nearing a decade of teaching experience.
Having studied on the East Coast, USA and all over Europe, I was able to build resources and relationships that I can utilize to further my teaching and provide opportunities for my future students.
I am passionate about music, performing, and pedagogy, and what I love the most is the satisfaction that a professor achieves when seeing their student perform on stage.
My perspective on techniques, approaches to repertoire, and even practice has changed with each new student I have the pleasure of working with. I use different techniques such as visual arts to help students understand that playing an instrument is connected to beauty, colors, and feelings.
