About

I am currently a student at Union Hill High School looking to graduate in May of 2021. Throughout my high school career I have maintained a straight A average while handling extracurricular activities as well as my job. Hardwork and dedication are two very important qualities that I find essential. I believe that I can do anything I put my mind to as long as I have these qualities, and so far I have. I have received many awards involving sports as well as promotions at my job. I have decided to further my education and pursue my degree at the University of Texas at Tyler in the fall of 2021. I am very proud of my accomplishments and hope to achieve many more and become successful on my journey to my dream job, nursing.

Goals and interests

Career goal

After graduating high school I will be attending the University of Texas at Tyler in pursuit of a nursing degree. For the first few years of my career I plan to utilize my education by becoming a traveling nurse. However, my ultimate goal is eventually to become a pediatric nurse.

Graduate school interests

After completing and receiving my associates degree in nursing I then plan to get my bachelors of science.

Outside the classroom

With being the oldest of three children and growing up in a community full of younger children, I found myself constantly babysitting. I have grown to have a strong passion for younger children and a dedication to their well being. Along with caring for younger children I also have a passion for the outdoors. I believe being in the outdoors is very important to my generation and all generations to come. I hope one day to be able to use my position as a nurse to bring these two loves together.
