About
Ever since I was in middle school and kids occasionally got letters from the National Junior Honor Society, I've had it in the forefront of my mind that I want to be a part of the National Honor Society. However, because the only letters I received from the school were for my 504, dyslexia, I used to get upset whenever other children received those letters. If I could go back in time and tell my middle school self that I am now a member of an Honor Society, I don't think my younger self would believe me. But all the work and dedication I have put into my education has paid off, and all of the risks and obstacles I have conquered are now undeniably worthwhile.
