About

I am a senior at the High School of Commerce in Springfield, MA where I was apart of JROTC for 3 years ranking as a first lieutenant. I'm apart of the Westfield Promise Program where I take college courses at Westfield State University; my first semester class was World Music and now my spring semester is Sociology. Ever since I was young I've had an interest in science causing me to want to major in Marine biology but since I've been apart of the Westfield program and taking up Sociology, the decision to change my major came easy. I would like to work with young children and one day start a practice of my own for counseling and psychotherapy.

Honors and awards

  • leadership award

I was given a medal in JROTC for outstanding performance of leadership and responsibility

Goals and interests

Career goal

At the beginning of my career I would like to work with children as a child life specialist, then work with high school students as a counselor. In my progression I want to own a practice in psychiatry along with counseling.

Graduate school interests

I plan on having an associate's degree in child development with a bachelor's in sociology and finally a master's in psychology.

Outside the classroom

I grew up in church and I sang in the sunshine band but I truly love liturgical dancing. I've always enjoyed reading; I'm a writer and have written many stories.
