About

I am currently a Junior at Missouri Western State University. I plan on attending graduate school after obtaining my undergraduate degree, however, I am unsure what school I will be attending next. I currently work at a preschool with children ages 3-5. This experience continues to teach me patience and overall understanding of the child, which will be an advantage in my future career path. Along with my working experience with children I also volunteer my time with organizations focused on children. Specifically, Camp Quality, that support children and families struggling with cancer. I also enjoy spending my time as a Big Sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. I believe that volunteering is an essential part of our community, especially with children. My education has always been an important aspect in my life as well, I strive to maintain good grades and further my education to better the lives of family and children.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to work in a School District as a Counselor with elementary school children. I hope to use my education and experience with children to improve their lives and offer them support in life. A second option I have planned would be to work with children in a hospital setting as a Social Worker.
