Alexis Olson

My name is Lexi Olson. I graduated high school from Hemingford High School in Hemingford, NE in May of 2014. I started college in August of 2014 at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. I studied Veterinary Technology. During this journey I have learned a lot, like: if I am not always doing something then I am doing something wrong. This is because throughout the two years at NCTA I have always taken 16 - 22 credit hours per semester. On top of that I was always doing homework and keeping up with my studies to end up with a 3.5 cumulative GPA and receiving a high exit exam award after taking all of the required classes to complete the Veterinary Technology Program. As of the summer of 2016 I have traveled outside of the United States on a study tour to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands to study the plants and animals that live there. During the summer of 2016 I am also completing internships in veterinary hospital and a research facility. I am enrolled at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln to complete pre-veterinary medicine. I plan to get into Veterinary Medicine School to be a Licensed Veterinarian. From there I want to work in a veterinary hospital and educate clients on their pet's health.
