I have been on the Dean's list twice in my education career.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan on becoming a Registered Dietitian. I would like to prevent disease for young generations and help implement nutrition intervention for those suffering from disease. I intend to become certified in Diabetes Education to help combat the growing issue of diabetes.
- Graduate school interests
After I fully emerse myself with nutrition as preventive medicine, I would consider continuing my education in a Physician's Assistant Masters Program.
- Outside the classroom
I have two dogs who I love to camp and hike with. I enjoy outdoor sports such as surfing, mountain biking and occasionally snowboarding. I love to cook and experiment with other cultures practices to help create healthy methods and ingredients. During the summer, I grow berries, tomatoes, peppers and figs.
