My passion is working with children. I knew as soon as I got out of high school that I wanted to pursue elementary education. I believe that a teacher is one of the least appreciate jobs in America. They hold the hands of children and help guide them through advancing in academics as well as helping them understand right from wrong. Teachers have the potential of making a significant difference in a child's life. I want to be that teacher that makes a child feel safe and loved.

I am interested in transferring to a four-year college in Colorado after I receive my Associates of Liberal Arts from Northeastern Junior College.

I enjoy painting. Something about watching the paint spread across a canvas is so soothing to me. I am a person who loves to stay busy, but sometimes I need to slow down. Painting allows me to take a breath.
