Alexon Astbury

My name is Alexon Astbury, and I am currently a junior at the University of Maine, Orono. I am preparing to become an elementary school teacher by learning how to create an ideal, supportive learning environment. I plan to incorporate inclusive, creativity-based teaching in my future lesson plans, making sure every student feels valued and respected while learning. Art is a big part of my life and identity, and I hope to give my future students the chance to express themselves through any form of creativity as they grow and learn.
