About
My name is Alfredo Coronel. I'm an international student and I moved to the United States four years ago at the age of fifteen. I graduated from William Workman High School in City of Industry, CA. I finished high school as rank four of my class and became the first international student to receive the title of Salutatorian in the school records. I couple of weeks after my graduation I received an invitation to join the Honor Society, a culture of students and people who thrive and support academic excellence. This year I intend to join the University of California Santa Barbara and begin my education as a Mechanical Engineer to eventually become Nanotechnology Expert or a Nanoengineer.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to study Mechanical Engineer with a minor in Computer Sciences in order to ultimately become a Nanoengineer working in the Electro-Mechanical field.
- Outside the classroom
One of my biggest hobbies was of recent discovery. During my time in High School, I accidentally joined Jazz Band. Little did I know it would become one of my biggest passions. I played guitar for my school's Jazz band for three years and made it all the way to their advanced band. I keep on practicing and learning more about music theory, occasionally writing and recording music for my own and other people's entertainment. I intend to keep on playing for the rest of my life.
On a different note, some other hobbies of mine are robot building, sci-fi book reading, Rubik Cube solving, videogames, puzzle-solving enthusiast, and a very big movie fanatic (no specific genre).
