About

I graduated from Rahnaward-e-Noor High School in Kabul with a 97% average (4.0 GPA). I have volunteered at Kabul City Hospital, Maiwand Teaching Hospital, Alimi Hospital, and with the Afghan Red Crescent Society. I was also an active member of the Afghan Youth Health Club. These experiences have inspired me to study Public Health and Health Care Administration and later attend medical school to help improve health care in my community.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in pursuing graduate studies in Public Health, Health Care Administration, and Neuroscience as part of my path toward medical school. My experience volunteering in hospitals in Afghanistan and learning from my parents, who are both doctors, has shown me how important strong health systems, mental health support, and good management are for improving lives. I want to study how to develop better health care services, make policies that help communities, and understand how mental and neurological health connect with public health. Through grad school, I hope to build my research and leadership skills and prepare to become a doctor who can make a real difference in people’s health locally and globally.
