About
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Continuing to stay in my hometown at the University of North Florida where I am currently studying for my Bachelor's Degree in General Psychology. I plan to return to school for a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing because I have always had an interest in working in the medical field. These reasons are attributed to my parents, who also work in the medical field, and my own interest of wanting to make a difference. What better way to do this than to give someone a second chance at life! Currently, I work as a Community Assistant for one of my university's housing areas known as the Flats. In this position, I aid residents in transitioning from living on campus to living in an apartment. I see this as an introduction for my residents as to what they can expect it to be like to move out into the real world with rent, finishing up schooling, and the like. Within this position, I also work in the front desk to aid in any paperwork or issues that they residents may encounter such as roommate conflicts and a better understanding of how their apartment contract works. Upon graduating, I hope to start off in the hospital as soon as possible with the hopes of working in the Emergency Room. There are three potential hospitals I have in mind that I would like to make my start: Baptist Hospital, Mayo Clinic, and Memorial Hospital.
