About
My name is Alivia Martinez. I am a high school senior at Don Antonio Lugo High School in Chino, California. I am proud to be a graduate in the spring of 2024. During my four years of high school I have had many achievements. My proudest achievement was earning the role of Associated Student Body Vice-President. I am proud of this achievement because I was elected by the entire student body. I have also served on leadership, a member of National Honor Society, Hearts and Heroes club member, scholar athlete, and serve my community as a youth group member at church.
As a leadership student I served on the executive board for our school as treasurer and secretary. It has also been a pleasure to volunteer countless hours to plan, prepare, and execute school events such as homecoming dances, prom, football games, and school rallies. I was also invited for the past two summers to participate in CADA leadership camp help at the University of Santa Barbara. As a member of National Honor Society I have served as the treasurer who is in charge of keeping track of the finances and oversee financial decisions associated with this elite group of students. Belonging to the "Hearts and Heroes" club is dear to my heart. This club is a group of students who form special bonds with special needs students on campus. Being part of this club has taught me how kindness and empathy can easily impact daily lives. In addition, I have participated in varsity sports and earned the recognition of scholar athlete all four years of high school. I participate at the varsity level for cross country, tennis, and softball. Finally, serving my church as a youth group member is very important to me and my faith. Volunteering hours of community service at my church and in my community has allowed me to see life from a different perspective.
