Aliyah Carroll

I am a communications student at Buffalo State College. Prior to entering college, I was a staff writer for Affinity Magazine and The Buffalo News. I also was an editor for Step Up Magazine and completed an internship with the Borgen Project for Political Affairs. Through Affinity Magazine, I was awarded a full scholarship to the Harvard Crimson Journalism Conference in spring of 2018. During my two years at Niagara County Community College, I was invited into the National Society of Leadership and Success, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I also reached the Dean’s and President’s list. My overall gpa is currently a 3.57.
