About
I was born in Cleveland OH. I am a graduate student with a 4.0 GPA at Cleveland State University in Ohio, majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to this, I earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology, Communications, and Theater from Ohio University through the Bachelor's Specialized Studies Program. I gained international experience as a student ambassador for the People to People program, traveling to four European countries. I also received intensive theater training at AMDA College of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles and acted in short films.
In my current role as a graduate research assistant at CSU, I manage various grants, vendor contracts, and program payments related to the Computer Science for Cleveland (CSforCLE) initiative in the education department. I also organize workshops, professional developments, and bootcamps, co-authored a grant proposal, and co-founded the Center for Computing Education and Instruction, which aims to provide computer science education and job opportunities while connecting students and teachers with industry professionals.
I contributed to a project submission for WiPSCE 2023, held in Cambridge, UK, focusing on technology education that I presented at. Additionally, I have been actively involved in hiring committees, meetings with industry and education professionals, and national conferences and workshops. My academic achievements include making the Dean's list during my undergraduate studies and being inducted into the Honor Society.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My goal is to become a licensed professional counselor after graduation and work at a non-profit agency, where I can work the required 2000 hours to receive my clinical (C) licensure. Ultimately, I aspire to establish my own private practice specializing in mental and behavioral health, where I can provide counseling services. The skills I acquire in grant writing, budget management, and financial oversight will be invaluable in effectively running my future non-profit organization.
- Graduate school interests
I want to graduate from my master's program with a 4.0. (Suma Cum Laude), and pass the National Counselor Examination. I am interested in developing professional relationships with my peers as well as faculty and staff.
