About

Here are some things you might want to know about me :). I am currently a senior in college majoring in Social Work. After receiving my bachelors degree and a minor in business administration, I plan to continue my education with a masters in Social Work. A big part of who I am, is my love for Jesus Christ and my passion for people. I love to serve anybody I can when the opportunity arises. Some people find their happiness in material things, but I find happiness in giving back.

Goals and interests

Career goal

At the age of 16 years old, I felt the passion and longing to start a non-profit in another country. This passion started while missionaries from countries like Africa, South America, and the Middle East, would visit my church on deputation. They talked about their work, culture, needs, and stories of the people in their land.
While listening to these stories, I saw people who loved their lives, who loved there families, who were thankful for all that they have, but at the same time I saw people in need. They were in need of education, medical assistance, housing, and spiritual support. America has an endless amount of resources that many countries lack. I would like to take not only my passion, but also all that I have learned here in America and help those with needs in other countries.

Graduate school interests

For graduate school, I would like to obtain my Masters in Social Work specializing in Children and Families. After acquiring the degree, I will then get my license as a LMSW.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies are kayaking, volunteering, working out, blogging, catching up with friends, exploring new places, trying new coffee shops, and of course... shopping.
