Goals and interests

Career goal

Once I graduate with my Family Nurse Practitioner degree, I desire my career path to work in an Urgent Care/ Family practice. I currently work as a bedside nurse. I feel that as a primary care provider, I will be able to help manage my patients and their care better and ensure they stay on top of their care, and keep themselves out of the hospital.

Graduate school interests

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with the specialty of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

Outside the classroom

Aside from helping people, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. Although I love what I do as a Nurse my job is often stressful and having that relationship with my family truly is the comfort I need. Another thing I love to do is play video games. One may call me a gamer. However, I do not stream. I only game for myself. I call this my mental escape from reality as sometimes everyone needs that as I previously mentioned my job can be quite stressful and having something to take my mind off of a stressful day is healthy for my soul.
