About

Hello, my name is Allison McCabe and I'm currently a student at Western Governor University perusing my B.A. Elementary Education and Special Education (Dual License) degree. I've been working with students who have disabilities since 2015 starting in New Jersey, to Florida and now South Carolina. My passion for the field has only grew since I began in NJ, and I am so honored to say that I love what I do. This love is why I decided to return to school - I want to be able to reach more families and help my community better understand individuals who have different needs. I believe with my knowledge, experience, and passion for this community I can truly make an impact on society and change people's lives.

Goals and interests

Career goal

To become a special education teacher, then possibly a BCBA.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy exercising, cooking, dancing, and listening to music. Recently my boyfriend and I have been taking trips to a nearby lake where we are able to swim. Hopefully one day we get a boat and are able to enjoy the water from a different perspective.
