UIL One Act Play All-Star Cast 2017-2019

Across my time acting onstage for my school at our UIL One Act Competitions, I have attained a total of five individual acting awards, spanning three different plays.
National History Fair- Advanced to State 2018

In a group performance about the creation and impact of the foreign affairs policy The Truman Doctrine, I, along with two friends, advanced to the state competition in Austin, Texas.

Career goal: After my academic career has concluded, I intend to pursue a career as a fiction novelist/playwright while working in a journalism position for a major news publication, preferably The Wall Street Journal or The New Yorker.
Graduate school interests: After graduating from Oberlin College in 2024, I will apply to Tisch at NYU where I will hopefully earn my MFA in playwriting.
Outside the classroom: I enjoy reading, especially plays and southern gothic literature (Cormac McCarthy is the greatest author of all time). I also like to ride my bike and play piano, and whenever I am doing none of those things, I like to spend copious amounts of time playing with my cat.
