About
I will be pursuing a Master's degree in Criminal Justice starting in the fall through the distance learning program at Florida State University. My plan is to complete my degree online while gaining hands-on experience in my field through internships at local police departments or sheriff's offices. I hope to one day work in federal law enforcement. My ultimate goal is to become an FBI agent, as this has been my dream for years.

After I receive my Master's degree in Criminal Justice, I will complete training at the police academy to become a certified law enforcement officer. I will then pursue a job at a local office, gaining the minimum of three years of work experience that I need to become an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

I enjoy reading, writing, and watching television shows that relate to my field of interest (ex. Criminal Minds, CSI, Dexter). Though media portrayals may not accurately reflect real life, they get me excited for a worthwhile career doing what I am passionate about: simply put, helping the good and punishing the bad.
