In National Honor Society, we helped out our community by volunteering our service for community service hours, tutored kids struggling with their grades and understand curriculum, and aspired to be the best we could be for our school and community.

To receive a band letter, I had to be on Varsity Band and perform at both the UIL competition in the fall and the spring
honor roll

To make honor roll, I had to make a B or higher in all of my classes for the semester
blood cord

To receive a blood cord, I had to donate blood twice a year my Junior and Senior year
academic achievement award

My high school had what they called a “Bucks Award”. To recieve a Bucks Award, I had to have a B or higher in all of my classes throughout the whole school year.

To be Captain of the Color Guard, I had to maintain my good grades, be a good leader and helper, always show up to practices and events, and motivate my team to be the best they can be.

Career goal: As a young girl, I always looked up to my mom and aspired to be a nurse just like her. In the middle of nursing school I became fascinated with crime and the way the human mind worked and decided to switch my major to Psychology and minor in Criminology. After I graduate, I plan to get a job as a Criminal Psychologist and help the police force to better understand and pursue criminals.
Graduate school interests: After I finish my undergraduate degree at Hardin-Simmons for Psychology, I plan to enroll in their Graduate program and earn my graduate degree in Psychology.
