Alyssa Gattuso

As a third-year sport management student, and future sport event coordinator, my passion for events and sports brought me to the Human and Health Performance College at the University of Florida, where I am working on my BS in Sport Management.

Attending UF has helped me hone in on my skills of planning, organizing, and the ability to think outside of the box as applied to sport events. Knowing I have always wanted to be involved with sport management I have enjoyed learning the core steps of managing events in this industry. I have gained experience and insight into what it takes to manage different sports teams and events to have successful outcomes, giving me insight to what this industry entails.

I find the work for a sports coordinator to be something I have always been passionate about and would love to continue to expand my knowledge through volunteering and my upcoming study abroad trip. In the approaching year, I hope to gain an internship to give me real-life experiences and further develop the essential skills for the industry.
