About

I am Amanda Abdelour. I am graduating from Hillcrest High School in 2020. I come from an immigrant family and I am the only born citizen of the United States. I have two older brothers that are proud of all my accomplishments. I am caring and big-hearted. I always help others and put others first. I want to study psychology because the way the human mind works and behaves amazes me. I am a hard working and well experience all around. I am so grateful I got invited into the National Honors Society and I believe this is a perfect fit!

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend on taking my career path in psychology in a few different ways. I mainly want to help kids dealing with family issues, physical issues, and mental issues. I plan on taking psychology into the route of Occupational Therapy to help disabled kids or the route of Social Work to help kids dealing with a rough life and showing them there is till hope.

Graduate school interests

I am going to Winthrop University for four years then I will decide on a medical school or law school depending on which way I want to take my career.

Outside the classroom

I love to sing, hangout with friends, listen to music, go on adventure, and play with kids.
