About

I am a 35 yr old permanently disabled woman born with scoliosis and Schizoaffecive schizophreniac. I strive to work with others to help learn of challenges presented to individuals with disadvantages such as mine. I have a goal of empowering all who feel obstacles and barriors are preventing their life from progressing successfully, whether academically, professionally or socially. I feel as if my story will be a motivating, encouraging and an enlightening example. An example that living your dreams through perseverance is very possible if you just believe in your full potential and apply alk of your efforts. Also, If I can make honor roll three terms in a roll, which I did, then greatness is achievable. I am proof that hard work pays off and giving up is not an option. I have many aspirations, dreams, goals and visions I am
immensely passionate about developing into a reality of accomplishments. Change is a good thing and it promotes progress if directed in a positive manner. I believe that to be a very serious moto to operate underneath.

Goals and interests

Career goal

. As I struggle to write these essays it always reminds me why I set out to get my degree in college in the first place. I motivate myself during the process and I can only hope I do the same for whomever reads this as well as allow you to feel a piece of my heart. I say this because I write this essay with nothing but sure passion, pure honesty and absolute dedication to the bigger picture of the greater good I wish to convey. I am a 35 year old single, permanently disabled woman, suffering from an incurable neurological brain disease called Schizoaffective schizophrenia. I also have a GPA of 3.4 and made the honor roll four terms so far in school. I attend part time at Southern New Hampshire University. I am majoring in Business administration management of operations with a concentration in marketing. I want to help other mentally disadvantaged individuals to cope with their setbacks and not hold back from the pursuit of conquering their desires. I want to advocate for others to motivate them to face adversity in society by progressing towards achievable aspirations, goals, breaking barriers, advancing by integration in local communities and pursuing dreams. I want to do this by showing them that they are not alone and if I can be successful and productively push myself to accomplish my goals that other disabled individuals can as well. I am a first generation college student in my family and i am low income/ need based and struggle so hard to over come challenges everyday in the process of obtaining my degree in business. I never give up ultimately I do this so that I can open a non profit dedicated to be a resource hub for assistance to the handicapped and disadvantaged community members. In doing so I hope to give opportunity to educate those unknowledgeable of mental health patients while promoting mental awareness and information on programs, facilities for treatment, life coaching, volunteer community involvement and much more. My only issue is that funding my education shouldn't be so difficult to achieve but it is seemingly my main obstacle to success.
