Amanda Bruno

My intended career path is to become a nutritionist dedicated to promoting health and wellness through evidence-based nutrition education and guidance. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition Sciences at Ohio University and expect to complete my degree in Summer 2027. Through this program, I am gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to help individuals and communities make informed dietary choices that improve their overall health and quality of life. My long-term goal is to apply my expertise in nutrition to support disease prevention, health promotion, and positive lifestyle changes while making a meaningful impact in the field of public health.

In my free time, I enjoy activities that foster personal growth, curiosity, and a connection with the world around me. I am an avid reader and enjoy exploring a variety of subjects through books, which has strengthened my knowledge and critical thinking skills. I am also learning Spanish, as I value the opportunity to communicate with people from different backgrounds and expand my cultural understanding. Additionally, I enjoy building jigsaw puzzles, which enhance my patience, focus, and problem-solving abilities. Spending time outdoors through hiking and visiting the beach allows me to stay active and appreciate nature. One of my greatest passions is traveling, as it provides valuable opportunities to experience new cultures, gain different perspectives, and develop a deeper appreciation for diversity. These hobbies have contributed significantly to my personal development and lifelong love of learning.
