About

Senior at Northern Kentucky University with a major in studio arts and a minor in creative writing. Finished studying abroad in Japan for a month as of 6/30/2014. Have always been a hard worker and ready to learn and am excited to see where else my education will lead me. I come from a large family with twelve siblings, and being the middle child has taught me that patience is certainly a value that is important for life.

Graduate school interests

If I had the funds and were not already in debt due to my current loans, I would gladly go to Grad School for my MFA in sculpture and ceramics.

Outside the classroom

I thoroughly enjoy making ceramics and sculptures, and well as paint, draw, and do printmaking. I love to read, write fictional stories, and whenever I get the chance, I love to dance to my favorite music. If I'm in a new place, exploring is the first thing I do, and when I'm in a familiar place, I walk anyway to see if I've missed anything since the last time I've taken a stroll. Swimming is lovely and bike riding is fun, but when the weather says otherwise, I enjoy a good movie or scanning my small library that has developed in my room for something to read.
