About
My greatest skill throughout my high school experience are my leadership skills and my dedication to pursue my dreams. I have demonstrated this by becoming a leader not only in my academics, sports but also in my community. My leadership skills allow me to dedicate countless hours in order to accomplish my dreams.
Throughout my academics I have demonstrated my dedication and leadership skills by currently taking the International Baccalaureate certificate pathway and have achieved a GPA of 3.5. I have also exceeded the mandatory credit for science classes by my Sophomore year and exceeded my high school graduation credits. I was fortunate enough to participate in the associated student body (ASB) program for the first two years of high-school, but ultimately decided to be more hands on with the kids at my school. To be more specific, I spent my sixth period class my junior year to assisting kids with autism and other learning disabilities. My goal is to graduate in June of 2018 as an I.B. certificate recipient. Following that I intend to pursue my career by obtaining a degree in either Nursing or Education.
Apart from education I have also participated in varsity levels sports. I have accomplished three years of Varsity soccer and two years of varsity track. Throughout my sports I have dedicated countless of hours perfecting my techniques in my sports but also
Throughout my community I have demonstrated my leadership skills by participating in community service. I have volunteered with the elderly at several different facilities for over nine years. Over the years I have enjoyed assisting the elderly with extra-curricular actives, escorting them to hospitals visit, cooking, cleaning, and overall being their companion. Throughout my experience assisting the elderly it allowed me to understand how important each individual’s need are and allow me to furthermore pursue my career in the medical field.
In addition to that I am also volunteering at Saint Louise De Marillac Catholic Church as a youth leader. As a youth leader my responsibilities include: organizing events, assisting the deacon during various spiritual rituals, and guiding the youth in their spiritual journey. Alongside these responsibilities I feel as if my most important one is to serve as a role model for those around me. My belief and dedication for my religion allows me to grow into an understanding leader who can see different viewpoints in a situation.
Inclusion my dedication to pursue my dreams and my leaderships skills allow for me to be able to handle any situation and be able to make create a positive atmosphere for the people around me. In the future I hope I am able to bring my leaderships skills and my dedication to create a positive impact to the world.
