About
A story about me, Amanda Pringle.
Being born in a small town, doesn't give you much experience of what goes on in the world. You never fully understand the vast difference between a small town and the big city. That all changed when I moved to Mesa, AZ. This is when I would dream of all the world has to offer me. I started noticing a difference in how I look at other country and how these people who live there lived. It fascinated me. It fascinated me to the extent, that I wanted to be the one who to go there and experience it first hand. It was during these visits, that I saw that there was an urgent need for health care for some of these country's. I have since traveled to Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, England, Canada and Mexico. Nothing touched me more, than when I traveled to .. Where I volunteered
Goals and interests
- Career goal
My plan after nursing school is to be a nurse for two years and apply to grad school where I can finish my Master’s of Science in Nursing and become a FNP. My ultimate job after all my schooling would be to work in 3rd world countries and provide health care to the people.
- Graduate school interests
My plan is to apply to Midwestern University to get my Master’s of Science in Nursing (FNP).
- Outside the classroom
My biggest hobby would be traveling, where I get to seek out new people and their cultures. I have been to 22 different countries and counting. I also love and have a passion for helping people. I have worked in a pharmacy for 5 years and have served with medical humanitarian groups to serve the undeserved in 3rd world countries. Helping people has become my life and I would not change it for the world!
