Amanda Shorter

I am currently studying Veterinary Technology at Piedmont Technical College. I have always loved animals and believed that they deserve to have second chances. While I am attending school, I work at McElveen Manor, as a Resident Assistant, in my hometown Sumter, SC. I enjoy helping others and making people feel happy. I was raised around animals, and my grandpa would always take me to Manning, SC, where my uncle had horses, chickens and dogs. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, and being around animals. Ever since I was little I dreamed about becoming a Veterinarian, but one day I know that dream will come true.
