Amanda Tovar

I am currently a junior at The University of Texas at San Antonio in which I am majoring in biology. I am working hard on my biology degree so that I can then apply and attend P.A. school and God willing become a physician's assistant. I have lived in San Antonio, Texas my whole life where I have learned to become a leader, hard worker, dedicated, and very family oriented. I like a good challenge and work well with others along with doing anything I can that will get a task or job done successfully. Staying in San Antonio to attend college has helped me grow as a young woman. I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I am currently looking for an internship in which I can better my understanding and experience of being a physician's assistant. Everyone has a special field and way in helping others, I have come to realize that my passion is helping others when it comes to their health. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goal of becoming a physician's assistant.
