About
Hello! My name is Amanda Weeks. I'm 21, just earned my AA in Sciences from Golden West College in Huntington Beach and am about to begin my first semester at CSULB! Now that I have my AA, I'm looking forward to getting on track to start my future career. I'm excited to join clubs and groups at school to allow me to build friendships and gain volunteer hours. Throughout my life I've always had the drive to succeed in school, and as I got older, the drive to to well at work. I'm always interested in learning new things and hopeful for the future.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
As of right now my career path is going to be finishing school here at CSULB and obtaining my bachelors in Nutrition and from there I would like to get into a masters program to become a Physician Assistant in the pediatric field.
- Graduate school interests
While I still have a couple of years before moving on to grad school, I do intend on getting a masters degree as a Physician Assistant from UC Davis.
- Outside the classroom
Some favorite things I like to do is dancing, which I began in high school and loved ever since. I like to go on walks with my family and my two dogs; it's always calming and a way to relieve stress for me. I also like to do any kind of crafts be it doing small projects to decorate my room or making cards. One other hobby is gardening which I've loved to do ever since I was little. I always would help my parents and still do; it's another way for me to just stop thinking about any problems or things I have going on and just focus on the now.
