Amber Cecil

I am currently a senior Radiology student at Mary Lanning School of Radiologic Technology studying to be a Radiologic Technologist. This is a very exciting field that not only is interesting to learn about, but the clinical aspect is very interesting as well. The human body is an amazing network, and as an x-ray tech, you get to see it all before anyone. I am originally from Gloucester, VA before relocating to Hastings, NE in 2018 for my husband's career. This is when my education journey began. I have been a full-time student year-round since 2018 while taking care of my two children. For the last few years, I have been juggling many roles and responsibilities. I was voted class representative for the 2019-2021 school year of my Radiology program. I have also maintained academic excellence for the whole duration of my educational career. When I graduate in 2021 with my Associate in Applied Science, I plan to further my education in Radiation therapy. I am looking forward to beginning my career in cancer treatment and truly make a difference in the lives of my patients.
