About
My name is Amber Goins and I am a 24 year old undergraduate of Del Mar College Corpus Christi, TX. I have recently completed an internship at NNTRC in Kingsville where I got to conduct experiments with snake venom proteins effects on cancer cells and platelet function. I look forward to doing more internship to broaden my knowledge. I am still unsure where I want to go for my bachelors but I do know that I want to major in biochemistry.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to eventually do industrial research in the field of biochemistry I am still unsure as to what exactly I want to research into because there are so many options.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to stay near Corpus Christi Texas because my family is near here, but i am open to traveling as well. I know Kingsville has a good program and so does Dallas and Austin. I'm not afraid to go out of state but I would much prefer places closer to home.
- Outside the classroom
I like reading (scientific and fiction), playing video games, jogging, watching movies, spending time with my family, learning new things, and I love being around animals.
