I am a Midland College student working toward an associate degree in automotive technology. As a mother of five, I manage school, parenting, and personal growth with determination. I have a strong passion for learning, problem-solving, and hands-on work, particularly in automotive repair. My goal is to create a stable future for my family while advancing in my field. Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to become an automotive technician with a focus on providing honest, affordable repairs. As a single mom, I understand the struggle of high repair costs and the frustration of being overcharged. My goal is to help women and families who feel taken advantage of by the industry, offering fair pricing and trustworthy service. I want to create a safe, reliable space where customers know they’re getting quality work without unnecessary expenses.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in furthering my education in automotive technology by taking additional advanced courses, including diesel mechanics. Expanding my skills in both standard and heavy-duty vehicle repair will allow me to provide a wider range of affordable services. My goal is to continuously learn and refine my expertise to better serve those in need of reliable, honest automotive work.
- Outside the classroom
I love spending time outdoors, caring for my livestock, and working on cars. Fixing vehicles is both a passion and a skill I enjoy developing. I also cherish time with my kids, whether exploring nature, tending to animals, or tackling hands-on projects together.
