About

I intend to be a radiologist or follow any bio medical field opportunity that I find a passion for, whether that be cancer research, genetic tracking, or pediatric medicine. I was a clumsy and active child growing up, so naturally I was a frequent patient of the hospital's radiology department. Every time I entered the hospital, I recall finding the x-ray and MRI picture processes fascinating, and honestly it made me focus on something else rather than my broken bones. For all the unfortunate accidents that brought me to the hospital, the hospital environment and staff always put a positive spin on my situation. Over time I almost enjoyed going to the hospital. I hope that in the future I too can help patients, not only feel better physically, but also at ease. Distracting their minds from the concerns that may be engulfing them. In addition, in the past few months both my father and grandmother were diagnosed with cancer. It is a scary reality, but that is why it intrigues me to pursue an occupation that focuses on cancer research. I want to help the millions of people who combat the tragedy of cancer everyday.
